Claire Haik is a painter, printmaker, and sculptor whose work focuses on natural imagery and an examination of the hidden processes that exist beneath the visual exterior of nature. Haik received her Certificate of Fine Art in traditional oil painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art where she was awarded the Lois and Charles X Carlson Landscape Residency for her work on regional landscapes from Philadelphia to New York. In 2015, she earned a Master’s degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her scientifically-inspired imagery has been published by SciArt in America and by Issues in Science and Technology. She teaches at painting and drawing at Wayne Art Center and Chester Springs Studio in Pennsylvania. Her work can be found at galleries throughout the northeast.
